Mediation Training is often sought by private groups as well as municipalities seeking to enhance the mediation skills of their professional mediators and other staffers involved in conflict resolution.
Our training offers a radical approach to problem-solving that takes into account the totality of the person, body and spirit. We take a community-based approach which taps into the expertise of other professionals in the fields of mental health and the religious denominations in addressing the total needs of each person.
All Mediator Training courses are available for group programs at your site. Programs are currently designed for Churches, Diocesan Family Programs, Governmental and Civic Groups, Corporations, Non-Profit Associations, and Businesses. Training programs can also be designed to meet the needs of any group.
Many church and religious groups seek to have their counselors, religious advisors, and other professionals involved in dispute resolution learn the precepts and techniques of our unique Transformative Mediation programs. Specific programs are available that also address the recuperative needs of individual Diocesan employees who are recovering from substance abuse, sex addictions, and violations of civil and moral law.
Also, many businesses seek employee training in the basics of Transformative Mediation as a method of resolving employment disputes. Corporate executives also seek training in the rudimentary aspects of conflict resolution not only as a preventive measure but also as a legitimate and ethical way to influence people and increase commerce.
The course offerings are not limited by this list; we have particular experience in custom designing courses to the specific needs of a group or organization. If you have a particular interest, you can request a "Training Quotation" form by e-mailing us at training@marriagerecovery.com or faxing us at 703-637-1308.
MRP trainers are experienced in mediation, conflict resolution, and training. In addition, each trainer is skilled in evoking active and enthusiastic participation in each training class, while charting the boundaries of ethics and integrity. Our various recovery programs have assisted more than 800 clients in mediating their differences while cultivating new communication skills, reinforcing choice patterns, modifying responses, and transforming their lives.
The contract course offerings for private groups can be scheduled throughout the year. In addition, twice yearly, certain courses are offered at our Falls Church Training Facility. Not all courses are offered at the same time.
